A disadvantaged gang of kids, and a swatch of crazy handmade dolls, highlight the seasonal conflicts that currently exist in various forms of mass production and globalization - versus traditional Christmas values. A scary, rollercoaster, read that combines classic comic culture and movie making motifs in a compelling story.
